Prevention:
Any employee with cold-like symptoms such as cough, fever, runny nose, sore throat, or shortness of breath must not be in the workplace. If experiencing any such symptoms, team members are expected to fill in AHS Self Assessment Tool or call 811. Potential 14 day isolation may be required as is outlined under the Government of Alberta mandate.
Patient Prevention:
Any patient who appears to have the above cold-like symptoms will be asked to re-book their appointment. All staff are asked to advise management if any patient is exhibiting the above symptoms. Signage at entrance and throughout the clinic will enforce this policy.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- All staff are required to wear clean masks/ face shields at all times; patients are also required to wear face coverings when entering our clinic.
- Never more then two patients are allowed in the waiting room.
- Hand sanitizer is provided throughout the clinic as well as plexiglass for front end and back end desks to encourage a safe and clean environment.
- All staff are vaccinated.
